Welcome to CodeBake! Whether you’re working solo or with a team, CodeBake helps you manage projects more effectively by combining simple structure with AI-powered teamwork. This guide walks you through the essentials: creating your account, starting your first project, inviting your team, and connecting your AI assistant.
1. Create Your Account
Start by signing up at app.codebake.ai.
Here’s the quick flow:
- Click Sign Up.
- Enter your Invitation Code to access the platform.
- Choose your login method (email or provider).
- Name your Account / Organization—this becomes your workspace home.
Tip: Choose a broad, durable account name so it stays relevant as your projects grow.
2. Create Your First Project
Set up your first project:
- Click New Project in your dashboard.
- Give your project a clear Name.
- Add a Task Prefix (e.g., “WEB”) so every task gets clean, readable task IDs.
- Click Create Project to launch it.
3. Invite Your Team
Bring collaborators into your workspace:
- Go to Settings → Members.
- Invite teammates by email.
- Assign each person as a Member or Admin.
Tip: Start with a core group to refine your workflow, then expand.
4. Connect Your AI Assistant
This is where CodeBake becomes powerful:
- Open your Project Settings.
- Connect your AI assistant using supported MCP tools.
- Once connected, your assistant can automatically create tasks, update progress, and help keep your project board in sync.
Tip: Test the assistant in a small or test project first so you understand how it behaves.
